Dr. Brandon Jacobsen moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 2022 from his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana where he spent 13 years working as a veterinary technician. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences at Louisiana State University and then moved to the Caribbean to obtain his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University, spending his clinical year at The Ohio State University. He then returned to New Orleans to complete a one-year rotating internship. After working there as an ER doctor, he opted for a change of scenery and moved to North Carolina.

Dr. Jacobsen has always had a keen interest in diagnostic imaging. When not on the floor, Dr. Jacobsen enjoys spending time with his wife and children, smoking meat, and playing tabletop games at local card shops.
