Alex is a credentialed veterinary nurse with 13 years of experience in veterinary medicine. She has always been passionate about providing high-quality patient and client care. Her clinical background includes feline speciality, emergency medicine, and various other specialty services (neurology, surgery and internal medicine mostly); most of that time being spent in ICU/emergency medicine. 

She takes a lot of pride in helping patients and their families feel as comfortable and be as informed as possible at every stage of care. 

She moved to Asheville with her partner, who is also veterinarian in the area, two human sons, too many (8) cats, and two chihuahuas almost 3 years ago. She enjoys spending free time with her family and friends, outdoors when possible, and traveling when she can.
