Hope King
Dr. King grew up in a small rural town in upstate New York along the scenic Hudson River, where she developed a deep appreciation for nature and animals. She earned her B.A. in Biology from Hartwick College in 2016 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Additionally, she has completed an internship with Vets Pets and has a strong interest in trauma and emergency surgery which has led her to SAVES.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. King is an active region officer for a national Subaru off-roading group focused on environmental protection and appreciation. She also serves as the president of the Bowlero Funnies Bowling League and enjoys spending her free time as an amateur video gamer and avid board game player.
Her love of science and solving puzzles drew her to emergency medicine, where every case presents a new challenge. For Dr. King, the most rewarding part of her work is the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families.
