Dr. Slangal received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2016. Before attending Purdue she lived in Raleigh, North Carolina where she attended North Carolina State University as an undergraduate. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Slangal, worked at a large general practice as an assistant, learning the ins and outs of veterinary medicine in a busy practice. 

Dr. Slangal has spent the past several years in veterinary general practice. During that time she discovered an enjoyment for challenging emergency cases and helping pet parents through those difficult times.

In her free time, Dr. Slangal enjoys working with her OTTB horse and hiking with her significant other and pups, Captain and Brodie. She, also, resides with her mischievous cat Morgan.
