Dr. Sohaila Arizmendi received her undergraduate degree in Animal Sciences from Purdue University and then went on to receive a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Arizmendi completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Colorado. Following the internship, Dr. Arizmendi moved to the east coast to complete a neurology specialty internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.  While at Red Bank, Dr. Arizmendi then completed a three-year residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Dr. Arizmendi enjoys all aspects of veterinary neurology, but especially loves neurosurgery and seizure management. The backbone of her practice is the personalized care that she strives to offer to all patients and their families.

When not in the hospital, Dr Arizmendi loves spending time with her husband and their two beagle mixes, Bella and Emma.
